The author is currently serving in Ethiopia. I shared this because I feel that he has accurately portrayed truth about PC and the experience. Although it comes in many different forms, “it”, whatever “it” is, is something real. And I, we, are in “it” everyday.
Ajepa, verdad, cierto are all responses that come from some sort of truth. Similar to responding with “really?? Are you serious? WHAAAAAT?”. As you all know how often I used these responses back in the states, you can all imagine the emotion, creativity and frequency I put into verdadhape (not a real word - just the spanish word for truth and the guarani word for some kind of “event”)
